The North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA), 50-47 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Forest City (Forest City, PA). The Foresters go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Forest City was tipped by Old Forge (Old Forge, PA), 68-30, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain View for a Lackawanna 4 test on Tuesday, January 2.
