New York High School Basketball - Epic South tops John Adams
December 21, 2023: Ozone Park, NY Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Epic South (Ozone Park, NY) and the visiting John Adams Spartans (Ozone Park, NY), saw Epic South's basketball squad knock off John Adams by a tally of 79-59.
With the victory, Epic South improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The travel to Van Buren (Queens Village, NY) to play the Vee Bees in a PSAL AAA Queens III challenge on Friday, December 22. The Vee Bees come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Van Buren lost 40-37 in their recent league challenge against Flushing (Flushing, NY)
Next up, the Spartans play the Richmond Hill Lions (Richmond Hill, NY) in a PSAL AAA Queens II challenge, on Friday, December 22. John Adams will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 72-43 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Jamaica, NY).
