West Virginia High School Basketball - Linsly fells Fairland
December 21, 2023: Wheeling, WV 26003 Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH), 74-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Linsly upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Cadets travel to Washington (Charles Town, WV) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Washington won 77-49 in their recent non-league bout against Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV)
Next up, the Dragons clash with the Portsmouth West Senators (West Portsmouth, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Fairland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Senators go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 55-44 league win over Eastern (Beaver, OH).
