The Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) basketball nipped the host Fort Mill Yellow Jackets (Fort Mill, SC), 55-52 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Catamounts (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Rockdale County was tipped by Independence (Charlotte, NC), 56-36, in a non-league test.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Science Hill for a non-league test on Friday, December 22. Fort Mill will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-7.
