Georgia High School Basketball - Lumpkin County crushes Maranatha Christian Academy
December 21, 2023: Dahlonega, GA 30533 Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maranatha Christian Academy (Oakwood, GA), 78-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lumpkin County upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Indians travel to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Fannin County lost 50-33 in their recent non-league bout against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA)
Next up, the clash with the War Hill Christian Academy Warriors (Dawsonville, GA) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Maranatha Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 65-54 league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Fayetteville, GA).
