Arkansas High School Basketball - Hamburg tops Lonoke
December 21, 2023: Lonoke, AR 72086 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hamburg Lions (Hamburg, AR) and the host Lonoke Jackrabbits (Lonoke, AR), saw Hamburg's basketball squad knock off Lonoke by a tally of 67-52.
With the victory, Hamburg improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Crossett (Crossett, AR) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-9.
Next up, the Jackrabbits play the Robinson Senators (Little Rock, AR) in a 4A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Lonoke will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Senators come into the battle with a 6-12 record after their 67-35 non-league loss to Parkview (Little Rock, AR).
