Texas High School Basketball - Strawn overwhelmed by Hico
December 21, 2023: Hico, TX 76457 The Hico Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Strawn Greyhounds to 28 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De Leon for a 2A Region II District 11 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Hico will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 52-46 league loss to Santo (Santo, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-9.
The Greyhounds (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX). The Bobcats come into the 1A Region III District 19 contest with a 3-6 record.
