Minnesota High School Basketball - Rush City holds off Hope Academy
December 21, 2023: Rush City, MN 55069 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Rush City Tigers (Rush City, MN) and the visiting Hope Academy (Minneapolis, MN), saw Rush City's basketball squad hold off Hope Academy by a tally of 58-52.
With the victory, Rush City improves its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Milaca (Milaca, MN) to confront the Wolves in a AA Section 6 challenge on Friday, December 22. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Milaca lost 91-42 in their recent league challenge against Annandale (Annandale, MN)
Next up, the confront the Washington Tech Eagles (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Hope Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 80-68 league loss to Math & Science Academy (Woodbury, MN).
