The Hopewell Blue Devils basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Thomas Jefferson Vikings to 62 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Petersburg for a Central contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
