Louisiana High School Basketball - Leesville fells Hornbeck
December 21, 2023: Leesville, LA 71446 Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hornbeck Hornets (Hornbeck, LA), 66-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Leesville upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Wampus Cats host Anacoco (Anacoco, LA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Anacoco won 74-29 in their recent non-league bout against Simpson (Simpson, LA)
Next up, the Hornets play the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Hornbeck will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Glenmora (Glenmora, LA).
