The Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Iroquois West Raiders to 39 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 26. Wilmington will meet a Minutemen team coming off a 50-43 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 8-3.

The Raiders (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL). The Buffaloes enter the Vermilion Valley contest with a 3-8 record.
