Washington High School Basketball - Kamiakin fells Sunnyside
December 21, 2023: Sunnyside, WA 98944 Kamiakin Braves (Kennewick, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA), 70-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kamiakin upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Braves host Post Falls (Post Falls, ID) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Post Falls won 64-54 in their recent non-league bout against North Central (Spokane, WA)
Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Eastmont Wildcats (East Wenatchee, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 bout, on Friday, January 5. Sunnyside will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 72-62 non-league win over Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA).
