December 21, 2023: Pineville, KY 40977 The Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) basketball felled the visiting Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA), 70-62 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mountain Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Trimble County (Bedford, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Trimble County was beaten by Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY), 50-36, in a non-league test.
The Lightning now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Harvest Prep for a non-league test on Friday, December 22. Lanier Christian Academy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 72-59 non-league loss to Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 5-2.
