Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mars tipped by Trinity

December 21, 2023: Mars, PA 16046

The Trinity Trojans basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Mars Fightin' Planets to 53 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Hoban for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Trinity will meet a Knights team coming off a 68-40 non-league win over Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.

The Fightin' Planets (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Archbishop McNicholas nudged Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY), 61-58, in a non-league contest.
