South Bronx Prep Cougars (Bronx, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Morris Bulldogs (Bronx, NY), 78-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Bronx Prep upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Broome Street Academy (New York, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Smith Warriors (Bronx, NY) in a PSAL AA Bronx bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Morris will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 70-60 league win over Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy (Bronx, NY).
