California High School Basketball - Nipomo can't hold off Polytechnic
December 21, 2023: Nipomo, CA 93444 The Polytechnic Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Nipomo Titans to 43 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triumph Charter for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Polytechnic will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 65-23 non-league win over Mendez (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-2.
The Titans (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Taft (Taft, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Taft was nudged by Templeton (Templeton, CA), 53-46, in a non-league contest.
