December 21, 2023: Wayland, IA 52654 The North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) basketball felled the host WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA), 56-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lynx (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars go into the Tri-Rivers test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Starmont was beaten by Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA), 58-47, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Louisa-Muscatine for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. WACO will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 65-57 league loss to Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-6.
