Nevada High School Basketball - Palo Verde nips St. Monica
December 21, 2023: Las Vegas, NV 89144 Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA), 35-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Palo Verde upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Panthers host Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Diamondbacks in a 4A Lake bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Diamondbacks go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Desert Oasis lost 81-42 in their recent non-league bout against Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA)
Next up, the Mariners play the Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 26. St. Monica will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Scorpions go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 52-35 non-league win over Thunder Mountain (Juneau, AK).
