Louisiana High School Basketball - Pitkin nudges Pickering
December 21, 2023: Leesville, LA 71446 Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), 73-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pitkin upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Rosepine (Rosepine, LA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Rosepine won 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Hicks (Leesville, LA)
Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Evans Eagles (Evans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Pickering will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 67-45 non-league loss to Many (Many, LA).
