The Sanford Mustangs basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders to 46 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleview Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Sanford will meet a Bruins team coming off a 80-50 non-league win over Jefferson (Edgewater, CO). The Bruins record now stands at 5-0.

The Highlanders (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Edgewater, CO). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was outscored by Belleview Christian (Westminster, CO), 80-50, in a non-league contest.
