Minnesota High School Basketball - Academy of Holy Angels nips Cretin-Derham Hall
December 21, 2023: Richfield, MN 55423 Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders (St. Paul, MN), 60-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Academy of Holy Angels upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Stars travel to DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Islanders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Islanders come into the bout with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Raiders play the Visitation Blazers (Mendota Heights, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Cretin-Derham Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Blazers come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 60-56 non-league loss to Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN).
