December 21, 2023: Nashville, TN 37215 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cannon County Lions (Woodbury, TN) basketball squad felled the host Hillsboro Burros (Nashville, TN), by a margin of 51-39.
The Lions (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Cascade (Wartrace, TN). The Champions go into the 2A District 9 match with a 5-8 record.
With the defeat, Hillsboro moves to 3-3 on the year. The Burros host Hunters Lane (Nashville, TN) to meet the Warriors in a 4A District 11 match on Tuesday, January 9. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-7.
