The Central Bobcats basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Glendale Cardinals to 40 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bobcats now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Mountain for a 5A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 9. Central will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-4.

The Cardinals (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Phoenix, AZ). The Rams come into the 5A Central Valley contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Washington was routed by Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ), 49-35, in a non-league contest.
