Minnesota High School Basketball - Simley can't hold off Concordia Academy
December 21, 2023: Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 The Simley Spartans basketball team (Inver Grove Heights, MN), was nudged 37-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Concordia Academy Beacons (Roseville, MN)
The Beacons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Cloud Cathedral for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 27. Concordia Academy will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 49-34 league win over Mora (Mora, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-7.
The Spartans (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Faribault edged St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN), 72-39, in a non-league battle.
