In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Quartz Hill Royals basketball team scored a decisive 44-23 triumph over the Desert Christian Knights.

In their next game, the Royals face the Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 22. Quartz Hill will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Coyotes enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 41-38 non-league loss to Vasquez (Acton, CA).
