Trinity Catholic Celtics (Ocala, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fleming Island Golden Eagles (Orange Park, FL), 57-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Trinity Catholic upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Celtics travel to Ridgeview (Orange Park, FL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Ridgeview won 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Mandarin Mustangs (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Fleming Island will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 52-40 non-league loss to Ridgeview (Orange Park, FL).
