Virginia High School Basketball - Green Run tops Tabb
December 21, 2023: Yorktown, VA 23693 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA) and the host Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA), saw Green Run's basketball squad knock off Tabb by a count of 46-29.
With the victory, Green Run upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Manor (Portsmouth, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Manor won 67-12 in their recent league challenge against Granby (Norfolk, VA)
Next up, the Tigers play the York Falcons (Yorktown, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Tabb will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 75-32 non-league loss to Woodside (Newport News, VA).
