The Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) basketball crushed the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 61-40 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Pirates (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Ardrey Kell walloped Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 55-41, in a non-league test.
