December 21, 2023: Williamsburg, VA 23185 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA) and the visiting Landstown Eagles (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Jamestown's basketball squad overcome Landstown by a tally of 55-40.
With the victory, Jamestown improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bruton (Williamsburg, VA) to confront the Panthers in a Bay Rivers challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Cox Falcons (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach challenge, on Friday, January 5. Landstown will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 43-31 non-league win over Hickory (Chesapeake, VA).
