Ohio High School Basketball - Kirtland holds off West Geauga
December 21, 2023: Chesterland, OH 44026 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) and the host West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH), saw Kirtland's basketball squad hold off West Geauga by a tally of 45-44.
With the victory, Kirtland improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Brooklyn (Brooklyn, OH) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. West Geauga will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 45-36 non-league loss to Nordonia (Macedonia, OH).
