In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Springdale Prep Lions basketball team scored a decisive 68-30 triumph over the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests.

In their next game, the Lions meet the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 22. Springdale Prep will attempt to better on its 18-12 season record.
