Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Yough ripped by Serra Catholic
December 21, 2023: Herminie, PA 15637 The Serra Catholic Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Yough Cougars to 20 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greensburg Central Catholic for a WPIAL 2A 3 contest on Thursday, January 4. Serra Catholic will battle a Centurions team coming off a 72-15 league win over Ellis (Pittsburgh, PA). The Centurions record now stands at 2-2.
The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Charleroi (Charleroi, PA). The Cougars enter the WPIAL 3A 4 contest with a 4-1 record.
