The Spencer Greenwave basketball team (Columbus, GA), was nipped 50-48 in Thursday's non-league match with the host Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA)

In their next game, the Raiders meet the Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Shaw will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 74-33 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus, GA).
