Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Charles Catholic topped by St. James
December 21, 2023: St. James, LA 70090 The St. James Wildcats basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets to 30 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutcher for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. St. James will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-9 non-league win over Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.
The Comets (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Hurricanes come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, South Plaquemines prevailed over West Jefferson (Harvey, LA), 41-28, in a non-league contest.
