The ThunderRidge Grizzlies basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Volcano Vista Hawks to 33 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Air Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5.

The Hawks (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Centennial was nudged by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
