Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) and the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), saw Preston's basketball squad overcome Mountain Ridge by a tally of 36-22.

With the victory, Preston improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Miners confront the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Mountain Ridge will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
