December 21, 2023: Livermore, CA 94550 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the visiting Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), saw Granada's soccer squad get by Castro Valley by a count of 3-2.
The Matadors now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Newark Memorial for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4. Granada will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Irvington (Fremont, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Castro Valley drops to 3-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Dublin (Dublin, CA) to meet the Gaels in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. The Gaels come into the test with a record of 3-1. Dublin won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA)
