The Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), 57-38 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Red Devils (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Lincolnton notched a victory over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 51-25, in a non-league test.
