Florida High School Basketball - Cypress Bay crushes Hallandale
December 21, 2023: Hallandale, FL 33009 Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hallandale Chargers (Hallandale, FL), 64-16 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cypress Bay upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Lightning travel to Miramar (Miramar, FL) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Miramar won 59-56 in their recent non-league bout against Pompano Beach (Pompano Beach, FL)
Next up, the Chargers play the Somerset Academy Panthers (Pembroke Pines, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Hallandale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 58-54 non-league win over Everglades (Miramar, FL).
