Washington High School Basketball - Kiona-Benton fells East Valley
December 21, 2023: Yakima, WA 98901 Kiona-Benton Bears (Benton City, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Valley Red Devils (Yakima, WA), 47-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kiona-Benton upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Royal (Royal City, WA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
In their next game, the Red Devils face the Ephrata Tigers (Ephrata, WA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 2. East Valley will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Prosser (Prosser, WA).
