December 21, 2023: Pearsall, TX 78061 John F. Kennedy Rockets (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pearsall Mavericks (Pearsall, TX), 59-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, John F. Kennedy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rockets travel to Gonzales (Gonzales, TX) to clash with the Apaches in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Apaches go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mavericks clash with the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Pearsall will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
