Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Girard College Cavaliers (Philadelphia, PA), 65-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Academy Park advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Knights host Downingtown East (Exton, PA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 3-5.

The Cavaliers now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penn Treaty for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Girard College will face a Wovles squad coming off a 52-46 league win over Tacony Academy Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Wovles record now stands at 4-2.
