Ohio High School Basketball - Jackson thwarts Alliance
December 21, 2024: Massillon, OH 44646 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) and the visiting Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH), observed Jackson's basketball team knock off Alliance by a score of 91-71.
The Polar Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Firestone (Akron, OH). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Firestone was knocked off by Copley (Copley, OH), 71-61, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Aviators encounter the West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye challenge, on Friday, January 3. Alliance will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
