December 21, 2024: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY), 94-71 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Highlands advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Bluebirds host Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-1. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy won 53-10 in their recent league match against Norwood (Norwood, OH)
The Rebels now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knott County Central for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Boyle County will face a Patriots squad coming off a 91-50 league win over June Buchanan (Pippa Passes, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 3-4.
