December 21, 2024: Burns, OR 97720 The Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR), 68-40 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hilanders now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grant Union for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Burns will play a Prospectors team coming off a 71-56 non-league win over Adrian (Adrian, OR). The Prospectors record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Lakeview falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Honkers travel to La Pine (La Pine, OR) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-6. La Pine won 65-33 in their recent non-league bout against Butte Valley (Dorris, CA)
