Ohio High School Basketball - Chippewa bested by Manchester
December 21, 2024: Akron, OH 44319 Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH), 67-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Manchester advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Panthers host Canton South (Canton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Principals bout on Friday, December 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Canton South lost 50-36 in their recent league bout against Triway (Wooster, OH)
With the loss, Chippewa falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Chipps host Rittman (Rittman, OH) to play the Indians in a Wayne County bout on Friday, December 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Rittman won 64-58 in their recent league bout against Northwestern (West Salem, OH)
