December 21, 2024: Ethan, SD 57334 The Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) basketball were winner over the visiting Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD), 60-48 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rustlers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to McCook Central/Montrose for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Ethan will play a Fighting Cougars team coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Howard (Howard, SD). The Fighting Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Freeman Academy/Marion falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The host Tri-Valley (Colton, SD) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Tri-Valley won 67-41 in their recent league bout against Garretson (Garretson, SD)
