In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Fairmont Heights Hornets basketball team scored a big 64-21 win over the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights.

The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Linganore (Frederick, MD). The Lancers enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Linganore walloped Frederick (Frederick, MD), 58-56, in a league battle.

The Knights now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thurgood Marshall Academy for a PCSAA AA game on Friday, January 3.
