New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Benedict's Prep can't get by Gill St. Bernard's
December 21, 2024: Gladstone, NJ 07934 Gill St. Bernard's Knights (Gladstone, NJ) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ), 53-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gill St. Bernard's advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Knights host Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ) to meet the Pirates in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 4-0. Seton Hall Prep won 71-48 in their recent non-league match against Columbia (Maplewood, NJ)
The Gray Bees now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. St. Benedict's Prep will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 58-37 non-league win over Ewing (Trenton, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
