With the victory, Gloucester advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Dukes host Phoebus (Hampton, VA) to meet the Phantoms in a Peninsula battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Phantoms enter the battle with a record of 3-6.
The Trojans now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host TEACH Homeschool for a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. Walsingham Academy will meet a Beach Breakers squad coming off a 61-19 non-league loss to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Beach Breakers record now stands at 0-6.
